Experience. Development. Advancement.
The White House Intern Alumni Association brings together former White House interns across administrations and generations, sustaining the relationships and shared commitment to public service that began during their time at the White House.
An internship may last a few months, but its influence can shape a lifetime. WHIAA provides a home for that experience to continue—where alumni reconnect, share what they have learned, and help others find their own paths to service.
Through NextGen Rising, former interns mentor high school students as they explore civic leadership. Rising Staffer connects former interns with former White House staff members to examine executive decision-making and develop thoughtful recommendations grounded in an understanding of their potential consequences.
Our community also welcomes Ambassadors and Friends who believe in this work and want to help us grow. Together, we carry the value of the intern experience forward, strengthening the connection between those who have served and those preparing to lead.
